It was announced yesterday that Michael Irvin has been voted in to the NFL Hall of Fame. As part of the “triplets” from the mid-nineties Dallas Cowboys, Irvin was instrumental in winning 3 Super Bowls in 4 years. In a 12 year career shortened by injury, he accumulated 11,904 receiving yards (9th all time) on 750 catches (10th all time), including 65 touchdowns. He also holds the NFL record with 11 consecutive 100 yard games. Finally, he is second all time with 87 postseason receptions and 1,315 postseason receiving yards.
